Enjoy a peaceful location with stunning views of Mont Blanc, just 4km from the shops, bars and restaurants of a charming mountain village.
Known as “the pearl of Mont Blanc”, Combloux has a supermarket, butcher's shop, bakery, pharmacy, as well as several bars and restaurants. You'll find more options in Sallanches, Megève and Saint-Gervais. Most of the surrounding villages host a weekly market where you can buy local produce.
Combloux has many walking and mountain biking trails suited to everyone from young families to those looking for more of a challenge. Other activities on offer in the area include tennis, horse riding, paragliding, via ferrata, caving, as well as water activities at the nearby biotope lake.
At the end of an active day, it's a real pleasure to relax in the sauna, steam room or cinema room at Chalet Ellambra.
About the property…
Chalet Ellambra is a new 3-storey chalet (delivered in 2025) at the end of a quiet residential street. It can accommodate up to 12 guests (including 11 adults) thanks to its five bedrooms and five bathrooms.
Once past the entrance hall, which has storage space, you will find three double bedrooms on the ground floor, all opening onto a flat garden with a wooden terrace. Two of these bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms and toilets, while the third includes a bath, separate WCs and a second private balcony.
A secondary entrance on the garden level is very practical in winter, as it leads directly into the ski room. The bedroom on this floor is perfect for up to six children, with a double bed and two bunk beds. It is connected by a corridor to a shower room, separate toilet, steam room and sauna.
On this floor you'll also find a comfortable cinema room and a laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer.
The top floor is dedicated to the living area, which is spacious and very bright thanks to full-height windows and doors opening onto the balcony. The lounge area, with its comfortable sofa and armchairs, is separated from the dining table by a central fireplace. The modern, fully-equipped kitchen includes a double oven, a coffee machine and a breakfast bar.
This floor includes another double bedroom, with its private shower room, along with separate WCs.
Several vehicles can be parked outside the chalet.
About the area…
Built in a quiet residential area less than 5km from Combloux, Chalet Ellambra is ideally situated for exploring the Mont-Blanc massif.
The village of Combloux is part of the Évasion Mont-Blanc ski area, along with neighbouring Megève, Saint-Gervais and Les Contamines. The Espace Diamant (Praz-sur-Arly, Bellecombe, Crest-Voland, Flumet and Les Saisies) is just a 30-minute drive away. Chalet Ellambra is 1.5km (seven minutes drive) from the piste at La Cry, and 6.5km (10 minutes drive) from Télécabine La Princesse at Megève.
Experienced skiers who want to try night skiing should head for the Vallée Blanche – a 23km run with a 2,000m vertical drop, linking the Aiguille du Midi to the Mer de Glace. However, you'll need a guide to enjoy this extraordinary experience, under the light of the full moon.
Other winter activities available within a short drive of the chalet include dog sledding and snowshoe trekking. Adrenalin-seekers can enjoy ice climbing, via ferrata and paragliding.
In summer, the region becomes a favourite with hikers and cyclists. Set off to explore the Argentière glacier, or the Baroque Trail, a 20km path between Combloux and Les Contamines-Montjoie that passes some of the region's most beautiful Baroque buildings. If you're lucky, you might even spot some marmots!
The artificial lake at Combloux is an ecological paradise fed by mountain streams and surrounded by wild flowers. Take a picnic and relax with a view of Mont Blanc, while the children enjoy the play area. There is also a restaurant.

A traditional Savoyard village surrounded by great mountain sports and scenery, Combloux is a great choice for guests who want superb skiing, hiking and biking trails, combined with a friendly village atmosphere and a relaxing location.

Chalet Ellambra is at the end of a quiet residential street, less than 10 minutes' drive from the centre of Combloux. It has five bedrooms and five bathrooms over three storeys, with a total capacity of 12 guests (including 11 adults).
The spacious living area on the top floor is particularly welcoming, with comfortable armchairs and sofas, a central fireplace and plenty of natural light. Large picture windows open onto a balcony with views of the Mont-Blanc mountains.
The modern kitchen offers plenty of space for preparing delicious meals, a double oven which is great if you're cooking for large groups, and a breakfast bar where you can get together for coffee.
Four of the five bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms. The three rooms on the middle floor also have access to a wooden terrace.
The last room, a delightful family room for six on the garden level, has a double bed and two bunk beds, and is connected to a shower room and separate WC. There are toilets on each floor of the chalet.
There is no television in the living room, but a comfortable TV room has been set up on the garden level. This level also includes the wellness area, with a sauna and steam room for relaxing at the end of the day, as well as a ski room and a laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer.
Children can play safely in the level garden. Several vehicles can be parked outside Chalet Ellambra.

Welcome to our mountain chalet!
We are delighted to welcome you to our haven of peace, surrounded by stunning scenery. We have spent́ many winters in the village of Combloux, which we are particularly fond of because of its authenticity and peaceful atmosphere.
We hope you will be as charmed as we are by this typical Savoyard village, at the foot of the majestic Mont Blanc.
Enjoy outdoor activities, hiking and winter sports. We'll do everything we can to make your stay a perfect one.

The space is perfectly designed to accommodate young and old alike, with comfortable bedrooms and a large living room where we loved hanging out by the fire. After our days on the slopes, the sauna and hammam were a real luxury for relaxing. The children loved the cinema room, a real bonus for social evenings. The view of Mont Blanc is breathtaking.
